Job Summary
VHS Bhaktapur is seeking a passionate and qualified German Language Instructor specialising in teaching advance level German B1 and B2 to join our esteemed institution. As a German Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive and engaging German language instruction to students at the level B1/B2.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement structured lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of students at Level B1 and B2 proficiency.
- Deliver high-quality instruction in the German language, focusing on fundamental grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Create a supportive, interactive classroom environment conducive to effective learning and student engagement.
- Assess students’ progress regularly through various evaluation methods such as quizzes, exams, and oral assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their language learning experience and encourage continuous improvement.
- Utilize diverse teaching methodologies and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with language teaching methodologies and pedagogy.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other relevant student information.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in the German language of B2 and higher.
- Previous experience of minimum 1 year in teaching German to advanced level.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Passion for teaching, enthusiasm for language education, and a patient, supportive attitude towards students’ learning needs.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to contribute to the overall academic environment of the institution.
