We take care of our teachers’ further training by constantly offering teaching-workshops and German classes held by German native speakers with an educational background in DaF (German as a Foreign Language).

Job Summary
VHS Bhaktapur is seeking a passionate and qualified German Language Instructor specialising in Level B1-B2 to join our esteemed institution. As a German Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive and engaging German language instruction to students at the levels B1/B2.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement structured lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of students at Level A1 proficiency.
- Deliver high-quality instruction in the German language, focusing on fundamental grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Create a supportive, interactive classroom environment conducive to effective learning and student engagement.
- Assess students’ progress regularly through various evaluation methods such as quizzes, exams, and oral assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their language learning experience and encourage continuous improvement.
- Utilize diverse teaching methodologies and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with language teaching methodologies and pedagogy.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other relevant student information.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in the German language of B2 or more.
- Previous experience of minimum 1 year in teaching German.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Passion for teaching, enthusiasm for language education, and a patient, supportive attitude towards students’ learning needs.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to contribute to the overall academic environment of the institution.
Location: VHS Bhaktapur in Kathmandu, Putalisadak
Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time (based on availability)
Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
