Pampha Dulal is a 50-year old woman who lives alone in Sudan-5,Bhaktapur. Her husband left her 18 years ago, also her son isn’t living with her. Practically alone, she lives by agriculture. She owns a calf and a cow providing her with 3 liters of milk a day. Her house, which was build out of stones and clay, was destroyed by the earthquake. Because it isn’t possible for Pampha Dulal to finance and build a temporary accommodation on her own, she receives assistance by the VHS-Nepalhilfe.
However she can not receive assistance for the construction of a permanent house due to unclear ownership rights of the land.
